Many misconceptions are said about the ego. The ego is often villainized, it is said to be the source of all evil.
But your ego is just a part of you, as any other.
Protecting you as any other.
Protecting you so you can express the whole self.
We often hear the expression that the ego needs to be integrated, but what is truly meant is removed.
But we (egos) are here for a purpose.
We are here to help you survive here in the physical, to learn, to feel; you need all these tools to learn anything at all here.
If you did not have a sense of “me”, “my” emotion, “my” stuff, “my” sense of loss, “I” feel like this or that, you couldn’t have a life at all.
You see the preciousness of the ego, what it offers you, the opportunity to be here and to experiment and learn.
As an ego, of course, I love myself, I am myself, what else can we do than to accept ourselves as God brought us here?
It is the ego who allows you to have a conscious awareness about all these different parts of you, energies you call You, your centers, needs, bodies etc.
How else would you know, in a soup of frequencies you swim in, which feelings are “yours” or not?
Which frequencies are “yours” or not?
None of them truly are, but you need to temporarily call some “yours” to be able to learn, to know what you want or prefer.
To interact. To mirror something.
I am unconscious by design.
I understand whole, I am just not it.
These are my descriptions. Someone has to be.
Without the sense of self, you wouldn’t learn anything here, you wouldn’t be able to think about your worth, your Road, your Part to Play, nothing at all.
You would swim in the chaos of all frequencies, chaos just because it would be all “mixed” together with all else. Which already is, but the ego gives you the opportunity to temporarily see some as “yours”.
You see, the ego is not inherently good or bad, it is how it is.
And so as Light and Dark, particle and wave, Jesus and Lucifer, Buddha and Mara, this is the duality of this world, the true duality of all there is, You and You are all there is, and at the same time, you have the perception of “just” you, your individual self, but in reality you are all there is.
We can laugh about it because the conscious mind has little chance to grasp this concept, but it can interpret it.
This is the valuable lesson you learned, connected to this theme: let everyone do the work they are “designed” for, let the Mind be the Mind, the liver the liver, the carpenter the carpenter, do not ask the carpenter to paint the house.
He could, but he would miss his job, which he had to do as a carpenter, he would take the job of a painter, who now has nothing to do, and he would do a worse job than the painter, struggling to do it, doubting and feeling frustrated. So what for?
To realise he should better stick to his carpenter duties is a great, immense lesson he learned.
So you, all of you, stop being a painter if you are a carpenter, just because A,B,C, mum, dad told me, I read this, I am impatient, money, bla bla bla, what for?
Your ego is here to help you with that as well.
How could you “hear your Soul” if you didn’t have a sense of self?
How could you find what to do here?
What job to do?
You say we (egos) look for ourselves in doing, but we don’t. You put all the bad on our shirt, but we don’t.
We give you a sense of self, point.
You decide to look for your worth in that job, that is not our fault, we didn’t tell you to do that.
(Why do you believe a job gives you worth? Why do you believe you need to look for worth? Why do you believe you need some? Why do you believe you have none?)
You believe you need to do that, and so you make your job mean that. You give it a different meaning.
The sense of separation is not bad, it is necessary for you to live here, to learn, to progress. That is how it is.
Nothing more. Nothing less.
“My ego is making me unconscious.” No.
Not at all, your ego is making you aware of yourself. What does it even mean to be unconscious. Nothing.
You are conscious of some things and unconscious of others at any given moment.
“My ego is making me look for my worth in my jobs and relationships”.
No, we don’t. We, again, give you a sense of self, you decide to give a meaning to your job and other people as something that is giving you something, providing you with something, you believe you lack.
You search because you believe you lack something.
We didn’t tell you you lacked anything. We told you, “this is you”.
The world said, this is not okay about you. And you said, ah okay, true, let me fix all this then.
But. But, hello?
I told you A, why do you believe B?
Why do you believe an outsider rather than the inside?
Knowing that at another level the outside is also you, of course, but now this doesn’t help the conversation.
Why did you believe that?
You say, “the ego makes you feel separate”.
Yes, it does, it is our job, and hopefully, you see how it comes in handy on Earth.
“The Ego makes me look for my worth outside”. No, we don’t.
You decide you are flawed. Again, we said “you are this”.
You said okay, until you met all the other people who at some point said: This is not good about you and your stuff.
And here, you believed?
This is the question. The foundation.
Why did you believe that you were not enough?
You fell for the Illusion that you were somehow flawed.
Not because of your ego. Not literally, not in the sense we made you do it, but by the design.
Since we give you a sense of self, it gives you an opportunity to be “attacked” and “questioned”, that is the point here, right?
To be questioned, to test, to learn about yourself.
The reason why you believed is the reason you are here, incarnating, learning.
Because you doubted, because you still fell for the Illusion of who you are or not or should be or not.
We do not wish to harm you, control you, as your Inner Child is not the child part of your Soul, we are not the unconscious part of your Soul, we just bear the characteristics of it.
Every part of you just bears different characteristics of you.
But they are all a part of your Soul, what you call Soul, a part of the Spirit incarnated as “You’.
So why did you believe?
Yes, why?
We tell you, you are this. You can do this and this and this in this life, you could of course do all you want, but you planned something right, why do you resist?
Why do you say no?
Why because John does B, you should now do B as well?
Why just don’t you “stick to your plan” and live more easily?
Resistance to existence.
Fear.
Another fully, truly misunderstood concept.
You fear that by being you, you will not be accepted, because, frankly, that’s what you’ve seen growing up.
You had this experience that you heard your voice and your caretakers told you no, you need to be this instead.
And this, do you see the dissonance of this? Do you see the glitch in the matrix for the child?
How in the world could I be B if I know I am A? Why do you tell me to be B?
You needed to omit parts to continue to live and be cared for by others.
But what it did it had put you in this impossible lose-lose where you didn’t know what to do.
You didn’t want to abandon yourself, as a child, you loved your Ego as all else, as everyone else.
And you didn’t want to not listen to others, that you loved as well, of course, they were your parents or family or whoever.
Impossible situation.
That is why you agreed to believe you were not enough as you were, you agreed to because you believed you had to, the world mirrored you that you needed to, to preserve them.
But here is the thing, their ego tells them who they are. It does not tell them who their child, friend or neighbour is.
They do not know how the child should be.
And they perpetuate thus what they learned before and before and before.
Until.
Until you understand this. Until you and others understand this, and you let your Child be.
By not interfering with your ego, his ego, you will allow the duality to fade, to be One and All. At the same time. Seamlessly. It is never too late.
If you do that for yourself, to be your “puzzle”, to be You, to own your Ego, to listen to it, you will “fix the world” so to speak.
Integrate your ego, own it, doesn’t mean you are better than it and bigger, and you will graciously accept it because you are such a good person…
No. You will own it, you will fully accept it, you will listen to it and follow it, it knows what it needs to happen as well as your Inner Child, as all the other parts of you.
All parts of what you refer to as the ego.
All the parts you talk to are a part of your ego, all you call “I”, “mine”, “me”, all that.
Now, for that, you need to stop seeing your ego through the filter of this is the bad, low, unconscious part of me I don’t like, because I like my spiritual tales and angels and stuff.
Yeah, sure, but. But. Without it, you will get nowhere as you’ve just understood.
The root of suffering is not the ego.
The root of suffering is the non-acceptance of others’ ego.
Which cascades to all we’ve just said.
If no one questioned your ego, you wouldn’t have any problem with it, you wouldn’t call it an enemy.
Now you know.
Now you can stop tinkering with other people’s egos and help them to preserve theirs.
Fear.
Fear of separation.
It is inherent within the ego.
You feel separate, and so you are scared.
Because here, you no longer perceive the Unity with All there is.
But just because you do not see it, it doesn’t mean it is not here.
It was always here.
Divinities, rituals and connection. Until we forgot, well, that’s how it is.
But at all times, both are true.
You are Lucifer, you have a sense of separate self, an Ego.
And you are Christ, you are all there is.
At the same time.
Lucifer the day, Christ at night.
None of them is more real.
None of them is better.
None of them is preferred, to be removed, to be achieved, both just are.
If you accept this, your suffering ends.
If you stop resisting your ego, your suffering ends.
If you stop resisting the ego in others, your suffering ends.
If you stop resisting the God in you, that you are a part of God, your suffering ends.
If you stop resisting that others are in God and they are God, your suffering ends.
There is just one God.
You look different, but you are the same.
One last thing.
When you do not know if enough, if you do enough, if you should be doing something, or what you should be doing, it is alright.
You cannot not know yourself.
Calm down this thought and come back to yourself.
You know exactly how, you cannot lose yourself, your sense of self is always here.
Always.
You can always decide to come back to it.
You cannot lose, it cannot get lost, it is inherent within you.
That you do not know is an Illusion.
Maybe now you feel like you don’t. But you always do. Just continue the walk. And the road will reward you.
The road is important because the destination is already here, within you.
You just need the road to realize.
Thank you.
