Transmission from the 24 November 2024.
Fear of what other people will think, what they will say, what kind of look they will throw at us… The nightmare we all had the chance to live at some point in our lives.
The fear of what someone will think about us often prevents us from taking action, from being confident in what we want to do, and from saying what is on our mind. It acts as an inhibitory force, making sure that in all circumstances, we are liked, and thus accepted, and thus a part of the group.
But when you look one layer deeper, when you ask this part of you what it is truly afraid of, while considering other people’s opinions, you will find out that you are not scared of what others think. You are scared that what they think might be true and that this something is considered as “bad” or “unwanted” in the particular setting. We are thus scared that something they think or say about us might be true, but we cannot accept this truth. And here comes the hick. We are stuck now.
We do not truly know what they will think, how could we? But we somehow assume that what they think may be some kind of truth we didn’t see or didn’t want to see, and now we will have to deal with it. And we do not want to deal with it.
We can thus choose to not take action, to stay at home, safe and decide that people are too judgy to talk to. And we will avoid ourselves the potential of pain if someone indeed judges what we do as “bad”. But then, if we spend this whole time hiding from the pain, aren’t we already in pain? Maybe being afraid of the consequences for a long period of time means being in pain much longer than facing the situation and taking immediate pain, which has the potential of being much shorter.
The part of us preventing us from taking action, speaking in public, and saying what we think is trying to save us from the pain we could feel if judged. It has only our best interests in mind, and we can be grateful to this side of us to keep us “in check” in respect to how we behave to our friends. Because this side of us can also prevent us from saying something hurtful to someone in pain. Once again, dividing things and sides of us as good or bad is what our human mind does to simplify the world to us, but it is not enough. It is a way too simplistic view that will get us in trouble if we do not try to expand our awareness beyond good and bad.
Which leads us back to the Centre.
Start making choices
When in the Center, you have much more clarity about what action should be taken or not, what words should be said or not, because we are not limiting ourselves to it being “good” or “bad”. Polarities cease to exist in the Centre.
It takes work, it takes practice to sit there. There are people who need more or less effort to be there, but no matter on what side of the spectre you are, with too much fire, looking for stillness in water, or with too much water, looking for fire to take action, the efforts to be in the Centre are the same.
At this point in time, where all the influences are brought to life, where there is so much media, so many publicities, and so many opinions, we need to start carefully choosing what we will feed ourselves with. We need to make choices every day, sort our priorities, and pick wisely what we let come to our physical, energetic, emotional, mental and spiritual bodies. We need to sort out our influences and simplify the physical, emotional and mental clutter. Only then we will spend more time in the Centre and start to hear our intuition more clearly. The intuition that is calm, that is still, that will not fight for its place with your intellect. If you missed its message because there was too much clutter in your mind, then you will be confused and subject to all kinds of external influences. You will allow other people to choose what you should do and be and your being becomes an open space. Sounds scary doesn’t it. If you heard the message but chose to not act on it, because of whatever agenda you have, because you were too busy or had some logical explanation why not to, the opportunity is gone and you will have to deal with the consequence.
We are not talking here about following some template or worshipping some God-like figure. We are talking about following your intuition, your inner guidance, that is constantly trying to pull you in the direction of what is best for you. Many people feel like life is way too difficult. And they are right because they are not using the guidance they are being given. It gets very difficult and very messy if you do not take care of the mess.
It is in ordinary, small, calm moments that we have the most profound realisations.
Start to treat your body and mind as they are, pristine.
While in the Center, polarities do not exist, things are not divided as “good” or “bad”, because we know that these notions depend on so many cultural and temporal factors. In this place, the judgment thus loses all its sense.
You are looking for how to balance the material and spiritual life? It is in the Centre.
You are looking for how to balance confidence and humbleness? It is in the Centre.
Everything and nothing is there. God is there. The truth of who you are is there.
Now, know that your Center is your responsibility. All spiritual traditions are pointing the way towards it, giving advice on how to get there. If you are willing to do the work. No one can do that work for you.
So ask yourself, what you will allow to affect you? Who you will allow to destabilise you? Whose opinion you will consider as more important than your own centre? Do you want to live in the reality or in the clouds?
You can simplify it. You can simplify all this tiring search of balancing polarities by finding the Center. You cannot logically figure it out. You need to surrender to it.
When you let the clutter go, when you remove the conditioning one by one, you will walk the path to the Centre, which is truly the path to your free will, to your freedom.
So go and get the work done. Because we love you and are with you at every step of the way.
Thank you
